This has put us in a position where we today deliver helidecks to offshore installations as drilling rigs of all kinds, oil procduction platforms, FPSO´s etc. We also deliver to the marine/shipping market – typically shuttletankers, MPSV´s, floating hostels etc. There are several advantages to alu. HD´s as compared to steel; weight reductions in the range 35-50%, low maintenancecosts, no painting and hence no repainting. The alloy used for the loadbearing sections are the AA6082-T6 with Rp0.2= 260Mpa and Rm= 310Mpa. The MP helideck is delivered with a machined surface which make the landingnet superfluous on fixed platforms. The helideck is delivered either as one piece ready for a one-hook lifting-in operation or in the other end as an assembly kit together with a supervisor. The weight of a HD for a S61 with a diameter of 22.2m with a 3.5m high support truss is from ~35tons. The min. delivery time for a HD is from ~8 weeks after order | | |  |
