The GMC Group was established in Stavanger in 1973. The seven companies in the Group specialise in different areas of marine and offshore services and shipping. All are market leaders in their fields and the Group as a whole has a wealth of multidisciplinary expertise that few can match.

GMC Maritime is the shipyard in the group and handles repairs, maintenance, docking and modifications. Our marine base is located at Buøy, Stavanger and at Mekjarvik, close to Northern Europe’s best deep-water quay. And if the order requires activities like wire spooling, crane repair or electrical installations, we get the support and expertise from other areas in the GMC Group.
