If a Norwegian ship equipment package constitutes a significant part value of the ship, attractive financing terms in line with OECD ship financing conditions may apply. These include financing of 80 percent loan periods of up to 12 years. Eksportfinans provided such financing for all the Norwegian ship’s equipment and services to the vessels Boa Deep C 1 and Boa Sub C by the Norwegian ship owner Boa AS (Taubåt-kompaniet) and and for three sophisticated offshore vessels built at Batam Indonisia and Vung Tau Vietnam for Singaporian owner Handel Maritime S.A.
