Andøya Test Center (ATC), a subsidiary of the worlds northernmost launch site for sounding rockets, Andøya Rocket Range (ARR), is a commercial test range located at Andenes in northern Norway about 300 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle. Our main business is testing and verification of missiles and rocket systems. With a test range measuring 5,000 square kilometers, we are a versatile and cost-effective alternative for testing of sea and air systems. Our main business areas includes (but is not limited to):

The test range control centre, administration and fixed launch facilities are located close to the town of Andenes. Andøya Air Force Base is located approx 6 km from the ATC launch facilities and has one of the longest runways in Norway as well as an additional crosswind runway and support facilities for all sizes of aircraft. The base can offer facilities as hangars, storage facilities (including EOD) as well as technical support and assistance. The range topography consists of mountains, fjords and open water giving good possibilities to a variety of different test scenarios. The test area surrounding the range is covering 5,000 sq. kilometers, and has the possibility for straight trajectories up to 100-140 kilometers. The waters surrounding Andøya also features a number of “ship graveyards”, making live firings under realistic conditions possible. To meet our customer’s need, we offer a wide array of technical instrumentation.
